Do you collect art books?
I’m on lots of pages in Mike Nicoll’s new book ‘By / Product‘. How many times can you spot me? I’m honoured to be depicted there alongside many fantastically expressive models photographed in Mike’s characteristically dramatic style with motion blur creating sensuous, ephemeral dark moods.
If you’re an avid collector of art nude books you should definitely have one of Thomas Bichler’s books in your collection. He’s one of the best landscape nude photographers in Europe and I have the immense honour of being in some of his publications. We worked together for a few days in 2015 in the epic Elbsandstein mountains in Saxony and achieved some magnificent images with me poised precariously over precipices.

Reach the sky” – Sadeness (Part II)
Last August I acted in a music video for the band Enigma‘s new song Sadeness (Part II). The song was released in October.
What do you think? …I’ve noticed both the song and the music video have had mixed reactions from hardcore fans. I don’t know how to to talk about music, so I won’t say anything about the song. Some fans have asked if there’s a version of the video without pixelated-private-parts. Well I haven’t come across one. I guess I could start claiming that that’s actually just what I look like naked.
The story in the music video has two characters – a dark, brooding monk and a mysterious seductive woman. You’ll notice that I played the latter. At first the mysterious woman is a luring temptress.
The monk takes her to his decadent den of dark desires.
Now the woman is a prisoner.
There is some inevitable running away and chasing.
And an ultimate fight between good and evil.
And in the end, it turns out…well, I shouldn’t spoil it. So I guess you should just watch the video.

I wrote the introduction to this fantasy art book by Russ Thornback and also feature a few times in it. Lots of hard work has gone into the creation of this heartfelt conceptual montage. Now we just need to bring it into existence!

This is the trailer for ‘Models. Der Film’, a documentary by Leif Allendorf about four different models living and working in Berlin – Jenny Jane, Melanie Unrau, Nadya Wendt and me. Great to see an 8-page spread of Thomas Bichler’s art nudes in nature in the latest issue of Belgian Ché magazine including a double page spread (no pun intended) of me from just a few weeks ago in the marvellous Elbsandstein mountains.
(One of my favourite photos by Thomas is the one just above me of Fredau in perfect, magical pose chanelling forest energy.)
