I’m modelling two fairy crowns assembled spontaneously by me and my sister Dezzy B last week from materials I collected in preparation for that time I didn’t get married in 2019. Check out Dezzy’s other creations on Etsy…
This grumpy fairy of the glade is working on her most unimpressed look for when she eventually becomes crowned king of the woods. The day she finds out that’s never actually going to happen, ‘unimpressed’ will seem like a picnic in the park…
She’s the sun’s captive. She captures the sun’s light in her robes by day, and so he keeps her warm by night. She is in his orbit and he is glowing under her skin.
Fairy queen’s bridesmaid…
How can I love when I’m afraid to fall?
One step closer…
Time stands still I will be brave
Time has brought your heart to me, and time will take it away…
“All your life / You’ve been waiting to be free / Trade your pride for ecstasy / That’ll make you / Reach the sky” – Sadeness (Part II)
Last August I acted in a music video for the band Enigma‘s new song Sadeness (Part II). The song was released in October.
What do you think? …I’ve noticed both the song and the music video have had mixed reactions from hardcore fans. I don’t know how to to talk about music, so I won’t say anything about the song. Some fans have asked if there’s a version of the video without pixelated-private-parts. Well I haven’t come across one. I guess I could start claiming that that’s actually just what I look like naked.
The story in the music video has two characters – a dark, brooding monk and a mysterious seductive woman. You’ll notice that I played the latter. At first the mysterious woman is a luring temptress.

And in the end, it turns out…well, I shouldn’t spoil it. So I guess you should just watch the video.
During a sweeping visit back to Blighy in July 2013, I went to Wiltshire and experimented with taking video footage on a Canon 5DmkII with a Lensbaby Muse. Consequently here’s a little atmospheric semi-narrative music video for my friend Eigenfrequenz’s song ‘Frequenz 18: Zeitgeber’, starring Gestalta as (according to my ad hoc analysis) a “romantic but morbid girl, a bit of a loner, lost in her own world and somewhat obsessed with death” floating around in the swelteringly hot rural English summer meadows thinking dark thoughts.
